Don't want people to think that I have given up on the novel! I haven't. I am working on several other projects at the moment (one is a Sherlock Holmes short story) but The Lunarnauts is never far from my mind. Still working out so perplexing ideas for Chapter 11. Now, my intention is to plan for publication sometime in 2016, that will give me time to work everything out, get through various drafts, rewrites and edits and maybe, just maybe, find an agent willing to work with me.

So, the work continues, slow but sure. Someone once gave me some sage advice: "Draft, THEN craft." I am following that advice.

So, do you think Bedford and Party have found Cavor? What do you think happens to them? Is Cavor alive?

Is there anything in particular about the original novel that bothered you or left you with many questions? Let me know, either here or at the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TheLunarnauts…).

My next post, I will tell you of some of the alternatives Wells was thinking about while he worked on the original. This information comes from the latest issue of "The Wellsian", the official newsletter of the H.G. Wells Society.

Stay tuned!

Redesigning my original design, but keeping the overall dumbbell shape, although the interior diameter is smaller. I you can use the original AutoCAD file (of any of my drawings) just contact me and I'll share. If anyone has design suggestions for this, please let me know. If anyone wants to tackle a 3D model of this (my AutoCAD platform does not have 3d capability and I can't figure out how to make a sphere in Google Sketch-up; old dogs and new tricks, y'know) I'd appreciate the free assistance.

I'm an OLD dude (60+) and I like to collect interesting artwork for my own use. I'm an amateur aviation and space historian (wrote several articles and I just co-authored a book, "Phantoms of the Skies" about the pre-history of aviation), a huge fan of guinea pigs and prairie dogs, an amateur Ufologist (not the crazy type) and I like to appreciate beautiful women.

I'm married and I have just entered semi-retirement after 20 years as a CAD professional and technical document specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration. I am now pursuing a new career as a professional editor and technical adviser of aviation and space history. I no longer draw as a hobby, but I write a LOT of stuff, very little of which is suitable for publication (not strange stuff, just not finished).

So, if any of you great artists out there need some information about rare aircraft or aircraft projects, contact me at cededitorialservices@gmail.com and I'll see what I can find for you.
